I’m amazed this is legal, but apparently cell phone companies can offer a tantalizing contract in which texts are free, then change the deal without ensuring you are properly informed about it.
And who are they targeting? Young people who have the potential to get hooked on texting. It’s like the classic drug pusher’s strategy — the first few hits are free, and once you are hooked, the cost is hiked. Hooked on Text?
